Frank M. Tejeda Beyond Academy
The Frank M. Tejeda BEYOND Academy is an innovative, student-centered campus designed for young adults ages 16–26 who are seeking a pathway to a high school diploma, college credit, industry credentials, and a successful career. Through a partnership between the Texas A&M University–San Antonio Institute for School and Community Partnerships and Harlandale Independent School District, the campus reimagines traditional alternative education by creating a supportive, flexible, and future-focused learning environment.
The BEYOND Academy school design blends accelerated academics, dual enrollment, workforce preparation, and individualized support so students can move at their own pace while building a clear plan for life after graduation. Students have access to small class sizes, college and career advising, wraparound supports, hands-on learning, work-based experiences, and opportunities to earn both a diploma and college credit simultaneously. The campus is intentionally designed to meet students where they are and help them move beyond barriers toward college, careers, and long-term success.
This campus is a tuition free and open enrollment campus.
